For 50 years, Minden Athletic has equipped athletes – from the beginning little league player to the pro – with the latest sporting equipment and uniforms to meet their needs.

 

In 1973, Butch and Ki Williams teamed up with Dr. Tom Alley to open the 1,500 sq. foot sporting goods store at 805 Homer Road after Butch saw a need in the community for a store that catered to the athletes in the area.

Butch and Ki bought Dr. Alley’s share of the business in 1975 and more than doubled the size of the business to 4,000 sq. feet, while also expanding the amount and types of products offered.

 

Over the years, Minden Athletic has continued to bring the best in sporting goods to the area and has evolved as technology and the interest in different sports have changed.

Minden Athletic also provides in-house screen printing, laser engraving, custom trophies and personalized embroidery.
